Young artists, listen up! The Bainbridge Island Chamber of Commerce is excited to invite all enrolled students both public & private elementary, middle and high schools of Bainbridge Island to participate in our 4th Annual Grand Old 4th Poster Contest! The art should focus on celebrating another year of the largest community event on Bainbridge Island.
Final entries need to be submitted to the Chamber of Commerce office by April 1, 2020. A panel of judges choose the winning entry.
The artist of the winning poster design will receive a $1,000.00 check intended as a scholarship to any institution of higher learning or artistic endeavor, graciously sponsored by Puget Sound Energy.
The winning design will become the property of the Bainbridge Island Chamber of Commerce and will be used in the marketing of the 53rd Grand Old 4th of July Community event in 2020.
To top it off, the winning student and their family will be invited to ride in the parade!
In an effort to get the “juices flowing”, The Chamber is working with Scrappy Art Lab and BARN.
